We have one cat called Mo. She is a short haired brown tabby that we picked up about 11 years ago from the SPCA in Wellington. We went in there looking for a kitten but she caught my attention & she wanted a lot of love & affection. She seemed to choose me rather than the other way around. We picked her up about a day later after she had been spayed. I asked what her name was & they said it was Mossy, because of her colouring. I couldn't work out how she could be called Mossy because she wasn't green. I shortened her name down to Mo. She was 4 years old at the time, so fully housebroken & very playful & independent.
After Brent was born she learnt to keep away from babies & kept very much to herself. Once we moved down here though the climate must have suited her more or something because she spends more time outside than inside. As the children have got older she has also become more sociable, but she still stays away from babies & unpredictable preschoolers..jpg)

Maxie is 15 years old - a black, short haired domestic cat - part Burmese. When Cait was about 3 and, then, an only child) she told someone at kindy - I only have one sister - her name is Maxie!
I wonder what Mo is really thinking!
